Of course, we’re doing this to support an important cause. But for us, the day is also about something more. When KSO partner and CEO Jan Steinicke joined Red Cross Club 10 for 2025/26, it could easily have become a personal project. Something running alongside the business and involving only a small group of people.
Instead, we chose to make it something we could share. On Saturday, we’re filling the Race Cave at Kaiser Sport & Ortopædi, Østerbrogade 79, Copenhagen, with employees, partners, friends of the house, and others who want to take part. Not because everyone necessarily has a personal connection to the Red Cross, but because we believe there is real value in coming together around something bigger than ourselves - something that can, at best, inspire others to do the same.
In a busy workday, much of our time is spent focused on goals, results, and operations. That’s necessary. But some of the most meaningful experiences within a company often happen when we meet each other in new settings and use our community to make a difference for others.
For us, the fundraising is, of course, the focal point. At the same time, it is important to create a workplace where people feel they are part of something bigger than their own role and day-to-day responsibilities.
It is an investment in community. And we believe that kind of investment creates value far beyond a single donation or a single day. Thanks to the Danish Red Cross for this partnership.
